John Mayer’s Album Debut on May
From the halls of his high school to the control room of Studio A, John Mayer has been navigating the waters of success since he was a teenager. After leaving Berklee College early to start his career, John burst onto the music scene with “Room for Squares”, instantly earning him multi platinum album status. Since 2003, he has been nominated for a Grammy 18 times and won 7, not to mention awards from MTV, VH1, Les Paul and Gibson guitars and the People’s Choice Awards. Recently, John announced the cancellation of his upcoming tour due to the return of a granuloma on his vocal chords. We are all deeply saddened by the gravity of this situation, but in typical John Mayer fashion, he continued to forge ahead and put the finishing touches on his new album, which is still set to debut this May. Born and Raised is produced by Don Was, engineered by Chad Franscoviak and assisted by Jared Nugent.
