50 cent

Some say that persistence is the key to success and no one knows that better than Curtis James Jackson, better known as 50 Cent. After a rough childhood resulted in 50 living with his grandparents, the young rapper started boxing and even made it to the Junior Olympics. From there, 50 discovered his natural talent on the mic and was mentored by several heavy hitters in the industry, most notably, Jam Master Jay. He has had a lot of set backs in his life, but in 2002 when Eminem got a hold of his work, 50 Cent’s career truly began. 50 was working on new material in Studio B with engineer Eric Denniston, and keep an eye out for his fifth album, set to drop this July.
